Modern home in central England, accessible to most cities

Fantastic transport links, off the A1 with 2 train stations: Lincoln 30mins, London 1hr15mins, York 45mins, Peak District 1hr, Cotswolds 2hrs.

Our home is just 3 years old and located at the end of quiet cul-de-sac. We're just a few miles from the historical market town of Newark. We're on the edge of a new build village, with field views from the master bedroom and one of the children's rooms.

Downstairs there's the kitchen dining room with a large dining table which seats 8+. Fully equipped kitchen with double oven and dishwasher. Utility room with washer and dryer. We've added a kitchen island (not shown in photos) so there's loads of worktop space. Large patio windows onto the garden. The living room seats 6 comfortably with large patio windows onto the garden. There's a downstairs toilet and plenty of cupboard space for coats, shoes and bits and bobs. Office with additional sofa.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms: the master has a super king bed, ensuite shower room and field views. There are 2 children's bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with a single and pull out. The last bedroom acts as an office with a single bed. Family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Wifi and two TVs.

Outside there's off street parking (garage not available to use). In the back there's a sunny seating area, large trampoline, children's playhouse, football goal and little mud kitchen area.

About the location

We are in the heart of England, right off the A1 and the east coast train mainline. We're on the edge of Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest country, super close to the Cathedral city of Lincoln (30mins) and Nottingham (40mins). London is just 1hr15mins by train, York is 45mins. Edinburgh is 3hrs30mins by train. There are two train station in Newark so a car, whilst useful, isn't necessary. The coast can be reached in just over an hour by car and the Peaks are just over an hour whilst the Cotswolds are only 2hrs away by car. We're on two bus routes into Newark, Nottingham and Grantham. If you want to stay somewhere central and see a lot of England then we're in a great location.

Lovely walks on the doorstep and village pubs. Our village has a fabulous pub that serves local beer and has great food. Village shop and takeaway.
