There are numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance but there are some very steep hills!
The bus station is 20 minutes walk so a car would be recommended... there is plenty of free parking .
Seville is an hour by car to the north and Jerez de la Frontera is about 30 minutes west. Cadiz and Grazalema are within driving distance as is Setenil and Ronda.
There is a local artificial sand beach by the lake and the resorts of the Costa de la Luz (Rota, Sanlucar, etc) are about a 40 minuted drive away.
