Lovely apartment on East Finchley/Highgate border

A lovely, period style, spacious, 2 bed apartment on the ground floor of a purpose built mansion block between East Finchley and Highgate in North London. No stairs and direct access to the communal gardens. N.B. Though a 2 bed, I only have a bed in one of the bedrooms, leaving the other 2 rooms as living/reception rooms - see pix - so this is a good place for either a couple or single person.

There is a washing machine. For drying I use a handy rack. As I live alone I tether wifi from my phone so there`s no broadband as such. Tethering works really well though so you could do that too.

PLEASE READ: As I`m planning to sell up and move to Bath I`m specifically looking for swaps there so I can spend a few days looking at apartments there and getting to know the place better. There are 2 low maintenance cats here so if you`d like to be with them here, great. They have an automatic cat feeder so you wouldn`t have to be tied to their meal times. I`d also be happy to pet sit in Bath. If not, and I could take the cats with me to where I`m staying in Bath, that would be another option.

About the location

A wonderful location, you have various buses just behind the building, East Finchley tube a quick bus ride or 12 min walk away or Highgate tube a bus or 15 min walk. You can be in town in about 30 mins or closer to home, have lovely walks to Highgate Woods or Kenwood House. Lively Muswell Hill is also a bus ride away. All these areas have loads of cafes, restaurants and shops.

If driving to London you can park in the rear of the building M-F from 8am - 6pm but then find nearby street parking for other times. Alternatively, as I have a car permitted here we could also possibly discuss doing a car exchange.
