Sunny home with cricket in the back garden
My home has a fabulous feeling of light and space, the lounge and main bedroom overlook the greenery of the Sussex County Cricket Ground, and on sunny days there are views of the sea in the far distance.
The flat sits at the top of an Edwardian building and has a rare combination of high ceilings and eaves making it both cosy and spacious at the same time. There is a large lounge filled with books, two super comfy three seater sofas and a large oak table for indoor eating. A door from the lounge opens out onto a south facing balcony, perfect for soaking up the sun or al-fresco dining.
On cricket days the balcony is a fantastic spot from which to watch a test match, or to enjoy the excitement of a floodlit 20:20 match in the evening. On non-cricket days you can enjoy the peace and quiet of looking out over what feels like your own personal park. Watch the groundsmen tending the grass, and enjoy a meal on the balcony whilst listening to the birds singing.
Cricket days/nights can be relaxing or fun to watch, non-cricket days are quiet and peaceful. And all of this comes free with the flat.
My home also has one large spacious double bedroom, and a smaller second bedroom with a study-bed that can be converted from a bed at night to a desk during the day making the room multi-functional.
There is also a galley kitchen with everything needed for cooking (plus a small dishwasher), and a family bathroom with bath and shower.
You will love my home if you enjoy cricket, if cricket doesn`t float your boat you will still love staying in my home because there is so much to do right on your doorstep.........
