Townhouse by the marina

Our home is a comfortable and spacious three-bedroom house in Port Pendennis Village, ideal for families or couples looking for a relaxing stay by the sea. It has a warm, lived-in feel and plenty of space to spread out, both inside and out.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one king-size master bedroom with its own en-suite and balcony, one double bedroom and one small double. Two of the bedrooms enjoy lovely marina views, including the master, so it’s a wonderful place to wake up and watch the boats. We are also currently renovating both bathrooms to a high standard, giving the house a fresh and stylish feel. Both bathrooms will have walk in showers and one will have a bath. Work is expected to be complete by end April 2026.

Downstairs, there’s a lounge-diner for shared meals and relaxing, a separate TV room for cosy evenings, and a fully equipped kitchen with table to seat 4. There is also a downstairs loo and utility room, which makes longer stays especially easy and practical.

Outside, the house has two very different but equally lovely garden spaces. The front garden faces south and gets sunshine into the evening, with a seating area that’s perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon read. The back garden overlooks the marina and gets the sun until early afternoon. It’s one of our favourite spots, with lots of seating, a gas BBQ and a fire pit for evenings watching the water.

The house also has a private driveway with an EV charger, and being in a gated community means guests can enjoy a peaceful setting with access to the residents’ tennis court.

It’s a home that works just as well for lazy days in as it does for exploring Falmouth and the Cornish coast.

About the location

We love being based in Port Pendennis Village, one of the best spots in Falmouth. It’s a quiet, friendly area right by the sea, with everything within easy walking distance, so it’s a lovely place to settle into and feel at home.

From the house you can walk to Gyllyngvase Beach for swimming, paddleboarding or a coffee overlooking the water, or head the other way into town for independent shops, cafés, pubs and the harbour. We often stroll up to Pendennis Castle for the views and coastal walks.

Falmouth has a really fun, relaxed feel – a proper seaside town with great restaurants, beautiful beaches and plenty going on all year round. There are boat trips on the estuary, coastal paths, galleries, live music and lots of places to eat.

One of the best things about staying here is that you can park the car and forget about it for a few days. Most places are walkable, and it’s a great base for exploring the rest of Cornwall too.

We think it’s the perfect mix of peaceful and convenient – somewhere you can truly relax while still being close to everything.

The local train station is a 5 min walk away and goes direct to Truro. It takes 25 minutes door to city centre. From there you can change trains and get to Penzance. If you alight at St Erth, then you can get the scenic train into St Ives. If you have a car, then St Ives, Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole and Padstow are about an hour away. Newquay and Perranporth are about 50 mins.
