North Devon Family Home, Large Garden, Close to Beaches

Our spacious family home in Fremington, North Devon is a perfect base for a relaxed family holiday by the coast. The house has four bedrooms (three doubles and one twin room), making it ideal for families travelling together, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out.

We have a very large enclosed garden where children can run around safely, plus a playroom full of toys, games, Xbox, musical instruments etc. Inside there’s a comfortable living room with a large TV for cosy evenings after a day out exploring, as well as a separate dining room for family meals.

We’re a dog-friendly home and happy to welcome families travelling with pets. Our garden gives dogs plenty of space to stretch their legs, and there are lots of lovely walks nearby.

We`re new to home exchanging and excited to try it! We`re very respectful guests and would treat your home as if it were our own.

About the location

We’re just a 5-minute drive from beautiful North Devon beaches. Our home is also very close to the Tarka Trail, one of the most popular walking and cycling routes in Devon, as the trail follows an old railway line through beautiful countryside and along the estuary.

The surrounding area has lots of family-friendly days out, countryside walks (some of the best in the UK) and seaside towns to visit. Westward Ho! Saunton Sands and Croyde bay are all close by if you fancy a bit of surfing. The beautiful Woolacombe beach and Instow beach are perfect for relaxing and taking in the views. While the pretty villages of Appledore and Clovelly are great days out. We are also close to Exmoor National Park and its amazing landscape and wildlife.

The historic town of Barnstaple is a 5 minute drive away where you will find lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment. There is a Theatre, cinema, sports and fitness facilities, as well as great transport links to the rest of Devon and beyond.
The city of Exeter with its amazing cathedral is just over an hours drive away. There is also a direct train to Exeter from Barnstaple.

We have all the big supermarkets within a few miles of the house, plus a local co-op a few minutes walk away.
There are plenty of pubs, restaurants, farm shops, and cafes close by.
Public transport is very good with frequent busses just a few minutes walk away.
