Cottage in central Chrisrchurch
My cottage nestles beside a pocket park in central Christchurch, and has a pretty north-facing garden. The patio is a haven of sunshine and quiet. It is a simple home with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a separate laundry. The separate kitchen, dining room and lounge are heated by a logburner and a heat pump. The cottage was fully repaired in 2016 after a long wait post earthquake. While not a modern home, the cottage is cosy, comfortable and everything works well. The car has its own off-street carport.
About the location
Our community bridges four little narrow streets linked by an attractive pocket park. We are just 15 minutes walk to the centre of the city with its splendid new library, river promenade, theatres, Arthouse cinemas and magnificent Hagley Park including the Botanic Gardens. Buses and dedicated bike paths connect my area to several lovely expansive beaches and Lyttelton Harbour. The volcanic Port Hills full of walking tracks backdrop tge city.
