Armaçao de Pera is a comfortable town with a wide promenade offering all levels of restaurants, hotels, and walking trails.
The wide beach runs for over a mile. The nature reserve trail takes you east to other small towns and eventually Albufeira. The cliff side trails to the west can take as far as Ferragudo and by there water taxi to Portimao.
