Property is a 10 mins walk to centre of Corsham- a pretty Wiltshire Market town, with access to Corsham Court park and lake. Corsham is 4 miles from the beautiful Cotswold villages of Lacock and 7 miles from Castle Combe. (All 3 locations used for filming Poldark, Pride & Prejudice & Harry Potter). Corsham sits on the edge of the Cotswolds.
The Beautiful Georgian city of Bath is only 10 miles away - 30 mins with public transport, which is accessed a minute walk away from my property.
The historical sites of Stonehenge and Avebury are approximately 1 hours drive. Direct train access to London from Chippenham, 4 miles away, with a journey off just over 1 hour. Also buses leave to London from Corsham itself. Other larger cities accessible by public transport are Bristol, Salisbury, Cardiff, Gloucester, Cheltenham. Beach towns of Weymouth, Poole and Weston Super- Mare are approximately 1hr- 1.5hrs drive.
